Our Big Announcement

As many of you already know, we are expecting our second child on November 25th. Isaac helped us announce this on Mother's Day to each of our families. He wore a shirt that says "I'm going to be a big brother!" I tried to get pictures of him wearing the shirt and he didn't cooperate very well.

I finally got this picture and yes, he is not wearing any pants!

Now back to the pregnancy - I am just starting my 14th week now and am finally feeling better. I was fairly sick for about two months, so hopefully all that is behind me. We had an ultrasound at 7 weeks and saw the baby's heartbeat even though the ultrasound picture just looks like a small peanut. It was very comforting to see the heartbeat. Everything seems to be going great so far and we pray that is continues that way. Our next ultrasound will be in July when we find out what we are having hopefully:)

Mother's Day 2008

Nate and Isaac got flowers for me for Mother's Day. Isaac is just big enough now that he wants to help carry everything, including the flowers that day. He did a pretty good job.

This is one of my favorite pictures of Isaac. As you can see he finally moved the lily away from his face.

Here he is trying to carry my hanging basket. This one was a little harder for him to carry.

Some Saturday Fun

One Saturday, the beginning of May, Nate's friend John and his son, Austin can to visit for the day. Austin is one year older than Isaac but the two of them loved playing together and had a lot of fun. They even got a tractor ride.

Isaac was having fun pushing Austin on his little tractor.

Now, Isaac and Austin are working on the tractor.

This is Austin with our young steers we are raising at the house. We have three right now. The boys enjoyed helping to feed them.

Tractor Ride with Daddy

Isaac loves to ride on the tractor with Daddy. In these pictures, they are discing the back yard to get it ready to plant more grass and make it larger.

Isaac is always pushing tractors around the house as well. He is not picky on the color of the tractor either. As long as it has wheels, he is happy!

5th Anniversary Trip

For our 5th wedding anniversary, Nate and I went to the PA Grand Canyon near Wellsboro. My parents kept Isaac for the weekend while we headed north. It was a beautiful day to see the "Little Grand Canyon". These are some pictures from the lookout points and hiking trails.

Here we are at one of the lookout points. It was a pretty windy day when we were there.

This was the bed and breakfast that we stayed at. It was decorated in a bear country theme inside. It was beautiful!

While Grandma & Grandpa Delp watched Isaac, they tried to get some pictures of him with a new calf they just bought. As you can see, Isaac didn't completely cooperate but they still got some good pictures. Isaac loves to go to the farm - he is definitely a country boy!

Fun with Candy

In April, my FFA chapter put a float in the Maple Festival Parade in Meyersdale. I bought candy for the students to hand out and Isaac was helping me to mix the candy together. Then he decided to haul the candy in his truck and trailer. My little helper!

Easter 2008

Here are some highlights from Easter this year.

Isaac loves books right now so his Easter basket from Mommy and Daddy were filled with them.
Here is Nate reading one of his books to him. Isaac was busy finding Easter eggs at Nate's parents house.

Welcome!

Hello everyone! Welcome to our blog. I am branching out and trying something new. I have been seeing other families' blogs and our school is encouraging us to use new technology including blogs so here is my attempt at it. It is my goal to put family pictures from our lives on here to keep you better informed about our family since we seem to have trouble keeping in touch frequently. Hope you enjoy it!
