Christmas 2008

Christmas this year was a lot of fun with Isaac and Kaylee. Here Isaac got a horse and just had to show it to Kaylee.

Isaac picked out this snowman for me himself.
Isaac loved the tractors and manure spreader he got.
Isaac got GeoTrax for Christmas and this was supposed to be the bin he keeps them in. For some reason he thinks he can hang out in it.
Isaac loved to help me make cookies this year. Here he is helping unwrap the Hershey Kisses.

Family Picture

Taking the family picture each year for the Christmas card is always an adventure now with kids. This year was no different. Isaac posed for the camera while I was setting it up.

Take One
Take Two
Take Three - Finally a good one!

Christmas Tree

Isaac loved to help put up the Christmas tree this year.

He put all the ornaments in the same place on the tree so I had to balance them out later that evening.

Isaac was also so excited to help put the star on top of the tree. He would point out the star to everyone that came to the house.

Kaylee's First Days at Home

Kaylee's first days at home were pretty uneventful. She sleeps ok at nights and Isaac is doing really well with her. He is very careful with her. He even asks to hold her occasionally.

Daddy and his little girl taking a nap on day.
This is the picture I used for Kaylee's birth announcement. She was wide awake one day and I got this cute picture of her.
Of course, Isaac had to get his picture taken with Kaylee too!

Bringing Kaylee Home

I was fortunate to be able to stay an extra day in the hospital before coming home. I felt better the second day after she was born. It was a Saturday morning and Isaac and Nate came to bring Kaylee and me home. Here she is in the car seat ready to go. The nursury at the hospital gave Kaylee this adorable purple knit hat so we just had to wear it home on her.

As soon as we got home, Isaac insisted on showing Kaylee books. We hadn't even gotten Isaac's coat off or Kaylee out of her car seat.
Isaac also decided to share his toys with her. Hopefully he is like this as Kaylee gets older too!

She's Here!

Kaylee Brooke Jamison arrived on November 20th at 12:15 am. She was 8 lb 10 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. Her delivery was quick and a lot better than Isaac's which made Mommy very thankful. Here are some pictures of her first days.

Here is Isaac meeting Kaylee for the first time. He kept pointing and saying "Baby!"

Isaac received a gift from Kaylee at the hospital the first time he came to see her. He was thrilled with his new set of books about the "Cars" movie which is his favorite right now.

Beautiful picture with her eyes wide open!

Her cute little feet .......

Nate ordered beautiful flowers for me and had them sent to the hospital with a note saying "To Mommy, Love Isaac"

Mixing & Baking

Isaac really likes to help me bake right now. He is always asking to "mix". He gets a chair right beside me and dumps the ingredients in and mixes them together. We do have a mess to clean up afterwards but it is still fun.

Sorry forgot to turn this one. You get the idea.

We were making cupcakes this day. He can hardly wait for them to come out of the oven when we are baking.
